We will initially evaluate the website and the amount of search engine optimisation (SEO) and/or search engine marketing (SEM) required, this will lead to a report containing suggestions of how the website can be improved from a user and a search engine point of view, including technical aspects / build errors, visual impact / design, navigation structure, overall ease of use and search engine visibility.
We will research and then report on which key words and phrases internet users are searching for in relation to your business, products or services detailing the amount of searches per day. By analysing your competitors websites as well as your own and using tools including Google's Keyword Suggestion Tools and Wordtracker, we will establish the effectiveness of particular key words / phrases on-site seo (search engine optimisation)
Site Architecture: The site will be checked for correct 'mark-up' and validation against the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) standards and any errors in the build of either the web pages or style sheets (css) will be repaired.
On-site Links: A links page is a great way to attract in-bound links to your website. Once a link request is received and approved we will add it to the page along with any META data and anchor text (the text you click on).
Content Optimisation: We write focussed content based on words or phrases from the keyword report. Different pages will be targetted towards different key phrases with the home / landing page having a maximum of 3 overall phrases and internal pages having more specific terms. The content will contain the selected keyphrases and variations throughout and will be written using SEO best practices in respect to titles, alt tags, headings, anchor text, etc.
Detailed Content Re-write: We can re-write the text for your home page and include three of your chosen key words or phrases. Other target page re-writes are also possible depending on level of service required or and / or target market.
Site Validation: We produce a site map (both .html and .xml for search engine indexing). Any other domain names pointing to the same website are set to re-direct using a 301 redirect where possible. We add a robots.txt file. The website will be validated through Google Webmaster Tools to check for crawl errors, any errors will be 'repaired'.
Directory Submission: Manual submission of the website to relevant online directories for your niche and other search engines.
Link Acquisition: We will either train you in the acquisition of in-bound links and their relative value or maintain an inbound link campaign for you. Inbound links are one of the most important off-site techniques that can influence your websites trust and authority and hence ranking within the search engines.
Pay per Click: Using phrases from the key phrase analysis we will manage your pay-per-click (PPC) campaign.
Press Releases and Video: We write news articles and features about your company and submit them to news and article syndication websites. If appropriate we will create online video for your website or to be used in a viral marketing campaign to help promote your product or service. Video has been proven to be very effective at capturing the visitors attention quickly and turning visits into genuine enquiries and sales opportunities.
Social Media: We will create and monitor pages / media streams for the following services; Facebook (FB), Twitter and LinkedIn where appropriate and add links to and from your 'main' website to these social media platforms. Administration of FB, Twitter and LinkedIn to add new content, monitor responses (reputation management) and supply new content where needed.
Monitoring: We monitor your website, all social media streams and PPC campaigns and adjust the site or social media content depending on what keywords are performing well and also keep an eye on where the incoming traffic is coming from.
Throughout the campaign we will produce reports detailing traffic, any changes to the website and the impact these changes have made. This report will also include recommendations not covered by any of the above, eg, implementation of new internet technology or marketing methods.
